McDonald & Peacock Cider House

McDonald & Peacock Cider House is an authentic English pub and bistro with a relaxing, intimate atmosphere, serving English comfort food and Indian curries, as well as a unique take on American classics. There are 8 ciders on tap including Blackthorn, Strongbow and Awestruck, as well as many bottles and cans. Not just a cider house, McDonald & Peacock also features 8 ales on tap, including Boddington's, Firestone IPA and Bass, 28 small batch gins, 18 French and New York State wines, and a cocktail menu featuring unique gin and cider cocktails.

Our menu features small plates from England, street food from India, and a twist on American favorites, such as Toad in the Hole, Fish ‘n’ Chips, Bangers and Mash, Chicken Tikka Masala (Britain’s most popular dish!), Cornish pasties, burgers, and a traditional English Sunday roast lunches of lamb or beef.

The setting conjures up a comfortable 19th century London pub. Formerly a print shop, its interior was meticulously designed and restored by the owner with the original tin ceiling, Tiffany-style chandelier, exposed brick walls, eclectic furnishings and 19th century photographs of cider-making from West Somerset, England, the heart of England’s cider country.
